There used to be three. First one passed away a few years ago, then the second one passed away last July. This third one is left all alone. Loaches are best kept in a shoal (three minimum). This fish has always been shy; while he may be small, he never hesitated to push his tankmates out of the way for food. Now, he only engages in staring contests with me....only if I have time. Other than that, he refuses to let me watch him eat. So, still shy, but perhaps a bit stubborn. He's a loach with an attitude!
We will need to move out of our apartment in several weeks time; a patient, loving, and curious person is wanted to adopt this little fish. He will come with his large ass tank (with accompanying accessories) and food, and other things. There will be an adoption fee in order to ensure that he will be well taken care of (i.e. he won't be flushed down a toilet or fed to a snake).
Contact via e-mail only. ***Please note that you will need to have a means of picking-up and transporting the fish and tank, etc.***A vehicle would be most helpful or a strong person with a hand truck/dolly.***
